Are your team leaders fit to lead in the 21st century?

Do you want your team to be happier and more productive?

Managers and leaders require learning and development opportunities which teach them how to apply the very simple principles of agility, critical thinking, and teamwork, in order to create workforces who are recognised for their contributions so they can become more fully engaged in what they do.

In short, this means that teams are happier and more productive due to increased awareness of their necessary and core skills. As a result staff not only become more productive but also tend to stay longer within organisations that recognise their efforts and achievements. Thus reducing staff turnover.

This also supports staff by helping them to feel and reconnect to a very real sense of meaning and purpose in their work as well as a greater sense of connection and community, something we all missed during the dark months of the pandemic lockdowns!

The four Cs of 21st Century Skills

So, how do we do this? Simple – we introduce the concept of the 4 Cs into the workplace and then find ways to easily put these simple yet effective principles into practice.

What are the 4 Cs and how can they be embedded?

The 4 Cs are an original concept coined by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills which has now merged with the larger organisation Battelle for Kids and forms a core part of their Framework for 21st Century Learning (Battelle for Kids, 2022).

While the original strategy only looks at the 4Cs in terms of school-age education, The 21st Century Leaders Development Programme builds on this by introducing these concepts into the business areas of leadership development, productivity, growth strategy and staff retention.
